Choosing Where to Serve
Each branch of the military is tasked with different roles in protecting our country. If you choose a military career, you’re certain to learn job skills that will help you in the workforce after you complete your service, or you may choose to stay in the military for your whole career. Based on your length of service and role, you may also qualify for grants to go to college once you complete your service.
To join the military, any branch will require that you take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) and have completed a high school diploma or G.E.D. You will also be required to pass a physical exam and fitness test.
